About the Ramblers
The Black Canyon Ramblers(TM) band is based out of the Gunnison Valley of Colorado, home to one of the most spectacular geological formations in the United States: the Black Canyon. The Ramblers specialize in traditional bluegrass, folk, country and Americana acoustic music and have played numerous venues such as the I-Bar in Gunnison, the Mallardi Theatre in Crested Butte, opened for the L'il Smokies at the Crested Butte Chili & Beer Fest, opened for the Wailers at Ambush Ranch (Crested Butte), opened for Floodgate Operators at I-BAR Ranch, played the Double Shot Cyclery in Gunnison and other local venues.
The band members are comprised of:
- Matt Shugert on lead vocals and guitar
- Madeline Shugert on vocals and clawhammer banjo
- Brian Camp on standup bass
- Drew Murdza on mandolin
- Jim Davidson on vocals and rhythm and fingerstyle guitar
